This mixed-method approach utilized operational data collection, key personnel interviews, and on-site assessments to understand current capabilities. Select I4.0 tools were implemented for real-time tracking to pinpoint inefficiencies , enabling the development of tailored adoption strategies and technological interventions for each manufacturer.

The engagement empowered participating manufacturers with a clear, data-driven understanding of their digital readiness. Significant potential for P&L improvements was identified, including capacity increases and cost reductions of up to 35%. Participating manufacturers were provided with clear 3-5 year strategic roadmaps detailing phased I4.0 investments and implementation plans , establishing a clear pathway to enhanced competitiveness.
